Here is a step-by-step instructional on how to pitch your song on Amazon Music For Artists.
Access the Pitch Tool
Open the Amazon Music for Artists mobile app or go to artists.amazonmusic.com on your desktop.
Navigate to Profile & Tools and select New Releases.
Choose the specific song you want to pitch. If you’re releasing more than one song (ie. Multi-single, EP or LP you an only choose one song.)
Complete the Required Pitch Details
Pitch Description (up to 1,000 characters): Tell Amazon Music curators why new listeners will love the track. Include details about your planned promotion, fan engagement, tours, radio, PR, and marketing strategy.
Genres: Select up to 3 genres that fit your track.
Lyrics & Language: Indicate whether the song contains lyrics and specify the primary language.
Add Optional Information (Recommended)
Similar Artists: List up to 3 artists who sound similar to your track to help the algorithm target the right audience.
Geographic Data: Specify the primary country or location where your fan base or target listeners are located.
Moods & Categories: Select up to 3 moods (such as mellow, sad, or relaxing) and appropriate categories (such as chilling out or working/studying).
Recording Type: Specify if the version is an original, remix, live recording, or cover.
Review and Submit
Double-check all entered information on the summary screen. Note: Once submitted, you cannot edit or change your pitch.
Click Submit to finalize the process.
